Bangkok Nightlife - Bangkok has a reputation for a wild nightlife. There’s no need to dress up and entertainment is cheap and goes on around the clock. The main centers for evening entertainment are concentrated around Silom Road and Khao San Road. Hotels are often good centers for nightclubs and discotheques. Pubs and bars can be found all over the city, many specializing in live music.

By law, all bars and clubs are supposed to close at 1 or 2 am but many stay open later. Patpong has over two hundred bars along its two streets and offers sex shows, live sex shows, though officially banned, are still found where all sorts of weird performances are available.
